Today, my group and I decided to start preparing the props for our filming day on Sunday, as the day is slowly nearing! We are coping fairly well with the pressure, but sometimes we find ourselves going round in circles, as we have had a few set backs, such as our animated storyboard not being encoded correctly, or struggling to come to agreements with filming days. All of these problems are being resolved, and it is all part of the learning process.
Some of the articles I cut out. |
I am excited to finally get our idea filmed, as discussing it constantly and planning it has really made me look forward to seeing the final result. So, today we took photos of our friends (with their permission of course!) and then printed off the photos for the wall, along with newspaper articles and maths equations. We did consider staining the articles with teabags, but we then came to the conclusion that this wouldn't suit our narrative, due to our character displaying OCD traits. We also took a trip to our local supermarket to purchase our props which will feature in our opening thriller sequence, such as tictacs and mentos to act as the drugs.
We then made a start with our filming schedule, to allow my group and I to be more efficient on the day of filming. This way, we will save ourselves time and therefore minimise the stress of working out which shot to film first. We plan to finish this tomorrow, as well as getting our location and recce shots, and completing our risk assessment. This is ambitious, but we are under a strict deadline!
